Each Boxx is custom built for you. Upon acceptance and payment of deposit, our Boxx kit will ship within 6-8 weeks.

Boxx can be built on any type of foundation such as a concrete slab, piers or gravel. The main considerations in choosing the appropriate foundation are: the type of soil underneath and local code requirements.

Permitting requirements are determined by each municipality. Upon payment of a refundable $200 reservation fee, Boxx will help you through the local permitting process.

Prior to shipment of your Boxx kit, you and your local contractor will need to build a foundation, frame the deck, and provide power and internet from you house to your Boxx. Once the Boxx kit arrives, you and your local contractor will need assemble the Boxx materials with Boxx acting as your Owner’s Representative.

You will need a local electrician to bring electricity to your Boxx and connect to our panel, as well as complete the wiring for your lights, outlets and internet within your Boxx.

We will deliver all of the materials to your site via truck and assemble it on your foundation or piers.

Boxx structures are made with structural insulated panels (SIPs) the most energy efficient envelop available. Your Boxx will be engineered to meet your local code requirements.

Your Boxx roof is made with structural insulated panels (SIPs) which are precisely cut on a CNC machine to fit perfectly. Your Boxx roof will be engineered to meet your local snow loads. The roof structure is covered with an EPDM roof membrane to guarantee a dry Boxx.

Your Boxx will come with heating and cooling systems. Due to Boxx’s use of SIPs, your heating and cooling needs will be 40% - 60% less than similar structures.

Your Boxx does not come with a wood burning stove or gas fireplace. You can add either once the Boxx is on site. Please discuss your desires with your Boxx representative.

Your Boxx does not include any provision for plumbing and adding plumbing may require additional permitting. Please discuss your needs with your Boxx representative.
